The Boston Celtics should be concerned about being dismantle by the new look Cavaliers

The trade deadline has passed, and some teams made more moves than others. The Boston Celtics may not have made any tremendous changes to their roster, but the Cleveland Cavaliers sure did. It would take too much time to explain every single roster change that occurred in Cleveland just under a week ago, but trust me, the Cavaliers are a much different squad.

Just for some perspective, the Cavaliers added Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood and George Hill during the entire trade process. Cleveland clearly went all in for this season, as many fans and critics believe Lebron James will depart from “The Land” after the conclusion of the 2018 season.

A lot of people were concerned whether or not the Cavaliers made the right moves recently, but after their emphatic win in Boston, speculations have begun to dwindle.

Now, that doesn’t mean that the Cavaliers are automatically the more threatening team in the East, but it definitely shows that Cleveland is coming back to where they’re used to being (at the top). That may sound like both ideas in that last sentence contradicted the other, but Cleveland can still be back on top of the East, but not be the better team at the same time.

And even though Boston had a tough week, going 1-3, the team is still not one to be messed with. The Celtics continuous development and great team chemistry has made them very intimidating and they are still a very hard opponent for any NBA franchise. Although, they have to be careful for teams like the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks, who continue to quietly climb in the East (but that topic is for another day).

Either way, this rivalry between the two squads is super fun to watch, and now that Cleveland is ready to challenge Boston again in the East, the rivalry just got even better. Not only does the Boston and Cleveland rivalry improve, but now James vs. Kyrie Irving gets sweeter too. Regardless of which franchise you support (I’m assuming most people reading this are Celtics fans, right?), the future is bright for both teams.
