The Boston Celtics are getting ready for a great Eastern Conference battle

The Boston Celtics continue their very successful season against a fellow Eastern Conference rival this coming Tuesday. With a regular-season record of 39-15 and the #1 spot in the conference, the Celtics have developed over the course of the entire season, seeing major changes and having to evolve their games due to situations like losing Gordon Hayward and moving Terry Rozier to the starting lineup.

As the team continues to develop, they face challenge after challenge as the season goes on, and they face yet another one Tuesday. The Celtics will be heading to the Air Canada Centre for a battle with the Toronto Raptors.

This game will be very difficult for Boston, as the “WE THE NORTH” chants ring loud in Toronto coupled with the great play of one of the best backcourts in the entire league.

More from Hardwood Houdini

DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are surely no easy assignment for any NBA guards (well, then there’s Kyrie Irving), but Boston’s chemistry is sure to have a large impact on the outcome of the game.

With great players in Irving, Rozier and Al Horford, the team is sure to have a tremendous chance of bringing back a win for Boston (God knows they need it after what happened in the Super Bowl).

Another great opportunity that the Celtics should continue to exploit is the young talent and athleticism in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum. These two players have earned lots of praise and respect around the league and are a huge reason why the Celtics are having such a great season. If these two can provide sparks throughout the game just like they have all season long, the Celtics should easily come away with the W.

All in all, this is going to be a great game to watch. When the #1 and #2 seed from the same conference face off, it’s definitely going to get the recognition that it deserves. Toronto and Boston will be one of the best games of the season, and it will be important for Boston to start their two-game road trip with an essential win.
