This is clearly a very exciting time to be a Boston Celtics fan.
After years of promise, Danny Ainge finally came through with some ”fireworks” on the 4th of July. Gordon Hayward was signed to a 4 year player option contract for $128 million.
Now, the C’s finally have a “Big 3” of their own. With Al Horford, Isaiah Thomas and Hayward, Boston has a real chance to contend with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The roster is also oozing with young talent for the future as well. Players like Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley and Jaylen Brown to just name a few. On top of that, Boston has several quality middle-of-the-pack players that round out their roster.
