Boston Celtics Daily Dish: April 14, 2014

Good morning, Boston Celtics fans!

We’re down to the final two days of the Celtics’ season, which is a bit depressing, I must admit.  Of course, not as depressing as the thought of having to watch the storied Boston Celtics lose more games, but still – depressing.

So – what do I have in sore for you this morning?

As always, I present to you last night’s scores, recaps and video highlights.  [NBA.com]

Of more interest to me is today’s Morning Shootaround, which opens with a look at the uncertainty staring the Minnesota Timberwolves in the fact as they head into the offseason.  [NBA]  No need for uncertainty, Minnesota: we’ll take Kevin Love off of your hands!

Last week, it looked as if the Indiana Pacers had played themselves right out of the East’s number one seed.  As the Daily Dime points out, they once again control their own destiny! [ESPN]

Ready for some rim-rattling fun?  Check out the Top Ten Dunks of last week!  [Yahoo! Sports]

The more I think about the NCAA Tournament, and the upcoming NBA draft, the more I don’t mind the thought of Boston going after Dante Exum or Marcus Smart.  Adding fuel to the fire, this assessment of the Rajon Rondo – Avery Bradley starting backcourt that the Celtics could be using next season.  [Bleacher Report]

Finally, I know I’ve talked about it, but just in case you missed the discussion, here’s a look at Boston’s current ranking in the NBA Draft lottery standings, and a look at where they could ultimately finish.  [Massslive.com]
