Good morning, Boston Celtics fans!

I want to start today by congratulating the UCONN Huskies for winning the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship last night!  They played hard and enjoyed some stellar play from their backcourt of Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright.   Youth and inexperience finally caught up to the Kentucky Wildcats, but they had a great run and gave UCONN all they could handle, so it was a great ending to another fantastic season of college hoops!

Ok: time to shift gear and get back to thinking, NBA!

There were no games last night, so there are no scores to get caught up on, but there are plenty of games tonight, so get your previews here!  [NBA.com]

Just because there were no games last night doesn’t mean you get to ditch your Morning Shootaround, which deals with a rumor that was floated out on Twitter about UK coach John Calipari.  [NBA]

Remember how everyone thought that the Pacers were a lock to be the number one seed in the East, especially after they grabbed Evan Turner?  Hmmm – check out these latest Power Rankings.  [Sports Illustrated] Whoops!

According to our senior staff writer Mark Puelo, the Boston Celtics should be looking hard at Marcus Smart, especially now that he has declared himself eligible for the draft.  [Bleacher Report]

TD Garden is going to get a bit of a face-lift this summer – to the tune of a $70 million dollar renovation project.  [NESN]  $70 mil?  Pocket change!

Finally, we all know that the Boston Celtics have decided to shut Rajon Rondo down for the second game of back-to-back sets – or have they?  Seems he may have the option to play in both games of the final back-to-back of the season.  [Masslive.com]

Thanks for the read!
