No. 6: Jrue Holiday

Jrue Holiday is simply one of the best fifth options ever. In his first season with the Celtics, Holiday produced the most efficient corner-three shooting season in NBA history. He shot 60.4% from the corner on 1.3 attempts per game.

To average 12.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.8 assists as a fifth option is impressive in its own right. To do this while playing elite perimeter defense and becoming the most automatic corner-three specialist in NBA history is downright outrageous.

Boston’s most underrated player had one of the most seamless transitions to his role with the Celtics that fans could have ever imagined. Going from a No. 2 option in his last season with Milwaukee to a No. 5 option with Boston, Holiday has done a remarkable job.

Despite his considerate drop in usage, Holiday posted career-best averages in rebounds, 3-point efficiency, and effective field goal percentage. He also averaged a career-low 1.8 turnovers.
