Ranking the Top 10 players in the Celtics-Heat first round series

No. 3: Bam Adebayo
While a healthy Jimmy Butler would likely take over as “top dog” for Miami, Bam Adebayo has been the MVP of the Heat this season. The four-time All-Defensive big man anchored a top-five defense in the NBA, despite Miami’s consistent injury struggles.
Adebayo, who has a close friendship with Tatum off the court, averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists on his way to a second-straight All-Star selection (the third of his career). He also played in 71 games while averaging 34.0 minutes a night.
Adebayo’s defensive presence and physicality will likely pose as Boston’s biggest obstacle as they begin their quest for a championship.
