If everyone on the Warriors stays healthy, this could be a fun game. And no matter how many titles they win, the demons of the 2022 NBA Finals will always come up for the Celtics.
Prediction: Loss | Record: 32-11
44. January 22 @ LA Clippers
This will be the Celtics’ first game at the Clippers’ new Intuit Dome. Even if injuries haven’t caught up to LA by this point, Boston should still be capable of taking care of business.
Prediction: Win | Record: 33-11
45. January 23 @ Los Angeles Lakers
The Celtics vs. the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the best rivalries in the history of sports. So, whenever the two teams square off, it’s the main event of the evening. But fresh off snapping their tie for most titles in franchise history, expect Boston to get a victory.
Prediction: Win | Record: 34-11
46. January 25 @ Dallas Mavericks
In the first NBA Finals rematch of the season, both teams will be hungry. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will have a fire lit under them, but it won’t be enough to beat the Celtics.
Prediction: Win | Record: 35-11
47. January 27 vs. Houston Rockets
By this point in the year, Reed Sheppard may have come into his own, and depending on how well the Rockets are performing, they could be rolling. They are a team that could pull off a bunch of upsets next season, including this one.
