38. January 10 vs. Sacramento Kings
With DeMar DeRozan in tow, Domantas Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox are hoping to help the Sacramento Kings have a better season than last year. But they just aren’t on the same level as Boston.
Prediction: Win | Record: 28-10
39. January 12 vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Welcome home… Daniel Theis! If Zion Williamson is healthy, this game could be a fun one, but the Celtics are still capable of taking down the New Orleans Pelicans right now.
Prediction: Win | Record: 29-10
40. January 15 @ Toronto Raptors
Now that Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby will be out of Toronto for the entire season, the Raptors aren’t going to be the same, and Boston will take advantage of that.
Prediction: Win | Record: 30-10
41. January 17 vs. Orlando Magic
As well as the Magic play the Celtics, they don’t play them well enough to go undefeated against them in a single season. This is where Boston gets their get-back.
Prediction: Win | Record: 31-10
42. January 18 vs. Atlanta Hawks
By this point, the Hawks could look very different from what they look like right now. And they probably aren’t in the business of buying talent. The Celtics should get a win here.
