28. December 21 @ Chicago Bulls
Chicago plays the Celtics tough at times, but they are going to be even worse than they were last season in the upcoming year. Boston needs to take advantage of every time they play them.
Prediction: Win | Record: 21-7
29. December 23 @ Orlando Magic
Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, and the Orlando Magic play a very physical brand of basketball. That style gave the Celtics some trouble last season. This could be a let-down spot for Boston.
Prediction: Loss | Record: 21-8
30. December 25 vs. Philadelphia 76ers (Christmas Day)
This will be one of the biggest games of the year, and it could be one of the most entertaining. This is right around the time that Kristaps Porzingis could be coming back from injury, and Boston won’t want to lose to the Philadelphia 76ers on Christmas.
Prediction: Win | Record: 22-8
31. December 27 vs. Indiana Pacers
The Eastern Conference finals were extremely closely contested this past season, and the Celtics will want to get revenge on Indiana after losing to them earlier this year.
Prediction: Win | Record: 23-8
32. December 29 vs. Indiana Pacers
But they won’t get revenge twice in a row. Indiana’s fast-paced offense gives the Celtics trouble at times, and this could be another example of that.
