7. Lots of easy same-team back-to-backs

Since the pandemic-riddled season, the NBA has been throwing in a ton of back-to-backs against the same opponent to cut down on travel. The Celtics have a few this year, but most of them are cake-walks.

Boston has five of these types of two-game stints on their schedule, and of them, four are against teams projected to be at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

The have the Charlotte Hornets on November 1 and 2, the Chicago Bulls on December 19 and 21, the Indiana Pacers on December 27 and 29, the Brooklyn Nets on December 15 and 18, and then the Hornets again to wrap up the season on April 111 and 13.

8. Celtics national TV games

Despite winning the 2024 NBA Championship, the Celtics don’t actually have the most National TV games across the league. In fact, they aren’t even in the top two.

According to Brett Siegel off ClutchPoints, the Celtics have 34 National TV games, which ranks third in the NBA. Only the Los Angeles Lakers (39) and Golden State Warriors (36) have more than Boston.

The New York Knicks also have 34 National TV games, and right behind them and the Celtics are the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns, who both clocked in at 30.
