The Boston Celtics were completely dominant during their run to Banner 18, and they did it with unmatched depth. That all starts with the stars. A first five of guys who could all be All-Stars in their own right: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday, and Derrick White. Plus, the support of big man Al Horford off the pine.

But that’s not where the talent ends in Boston. Despite the high price point of their stars, the Celtics still managed to fill out an elite roster with a ton of depth.

3 Unlikely Celtics players who could average 20 PPG on other teams

Here are three unlikely Celtics who could average 20 points per game on a different team.

1. Payton Pritchard

This one was way too obvious. Payton Pritchard is an elite scorer, and when he gets the chance to show off his skills, he’s incredible. In the final two regular-season games, Pritchard scored 31 and 38 points, respectively.

Given the right number of minutes, Pritchard could be a top-notch scorer. It would probably have to be on a bad team where he could get a ton of minutes, but the point is, Pritchard has the skills to get it done.

In addition to being an elite three-point shooter, Pritchard has shown plenty of ability to weave in and out of defenses, getting to the rim at will. And perhaps most importantly, Pritchard plays with an unrelenting will to get to his spots and finish.

Teams like the Washington Wizards, San Antonio Spurs, and Utah Jazz would love to have a guy like Pritchard on their team, and if he was given a big enough offensive role, he could get to 20 points per game.
