The Boston Celtics ruined the nights of many fans who purchased tickets for home games last season. The bad performances culminated in a dreadful showing in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat. If you were one of the fans who attended that game, do you remember how you felt?

Flash forward one year later, and the Celtics are a juggernaut at home, having learned from past failures. The Cs started the season 27-0 at home before losing to the Denver Nuggets. Despite that, the Celtics are one of the best teams at home in the league, which bodes well for the 2024 playoffs.

This season, the Celtics are 31-3 (as of this writing) at home, a huge improvement from last season when they lost nine games. In the 2023 playoffs, the Celtics finished with a poor 5-6 record. It’s great to see that the Celtics are valuing winning on their home floor because that’s what the great teams do.

Over the last few weeks, the Celtics have been obliterating opponents at home. During their eight-game win streak, the Cs are winning by an average margin of 26.9 points, which is absurd. This is an example of how special this Cs group is and how they have a chance to join an elite group of the best champions of the 21st century.

Boston Celtics must dominate at home if Banner 18 is going to happen

If the Celtics are going to win the NBA title this season, they are going to have to be dominant at home. Taking it seriously during the regular season bodes well for the Celtic's chances because they have built a good habit. I don’t think it's crazy to wonder if the Cs could go undefeated at home in the postseason (I honestly expect it).

As long as the crazy fans in green continue to be loud, the Celtics should continue their dominance in TD Garden.
