The most unexpected thing that has developed for the Boston Celtics is a bromance. The partnership and friendship that Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis have has been amazing to see, and it has taken on a life of its own.

Celtics fans have enjoyed making memes and highlighting the budding bromance.

It seems that you can’t go a week without a new piece of elite content popping up. This week, the new elite content Porzingis and Brown have delivered is in a new episode from the View From the Rafters podcast.

The duo told a story about how one night, after getting back at 5 a.m. from a road trip, they ran out of gas, and had to call for help. If you listen to the clip, you can hear how close the duo has become because they are joking with each other.

The funny part of the story is that Porzingis drives an old Mercedes, which Brown clowns him for given he now lives in Boston. I can’t get enough of the content that the bromance is delivering, and it's awesome to see because it translates to the court.

Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis' relationship has blossomed quickly on the Boston Celtics

I can’t remember the last time I saw a pair of teammates on the Celtics gel so quickly to form an elite combination. Porzingis and Brown have become a dominant pick-and-roll duo that is virtually unguardable. I would like to see the Cs use this more, especially in the postseason when offenses are forced to slow down.

Brown deserves credit for welcoming Porzingis the way he did because he could have let his ego get in the way. Porzingis has outshined Brown at different points this season, but it appears that the two are mature enough that it doesn’t affect them.

The fact that Brown and Porzingis have developed an elite bromance bodes well for the C's title chances this season.
