Barstool Sports' Dan Greenberg floated a path for the Boston Celtics to land LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, who declared for the 2024 NBA draft on April 5 while maintaining his collegiate eligibility if he opts out before May 31, in the offseason.

"Celts at 30 for a packaged deal??" Greenberg asked while sharing the video of LeBron talking to JJ Redick on their "Mind the Game" podcast, referencing the ability for Boston to draft Bronny while potentially signing James for cheap.

Talk about a potential dynasty. James teaming up with Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis would surpass the Kevin Durant-era Golden State Warriors quickly and easily in greatness.

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce believes Bronny James opted for NBA draft to play with LeBron before the career of the "King" ends

Paul Pierce chimed in on Bronny's decision to enter the 2024 NBA draft during the April 5 edition of FS1's Undisputed, claiming that LeBron's recent comments about not having much time left are the reason his son perhaps prematurely left college.

“I really believe this is a domino effect of what LeBron said the other day," Pierce said (h/t Sportskeeda). "What did he say after the Brooklyn game? I don't have much time left. So, he wants to play with his son. This is the time now. Bronny is probably most likely gonna get a free agent pickup if he doesn't get drafted. Possibly the Lakers in the free agency. This is his opportunity to play with his son and ride into the sunset. I truly believe it."

Pierce, who has gone on record saying that the Celtics "must" win it all this June, routinely sent James' Cleveland Cavaliers home throughout the late 2000s before James' Miami Heat returned the favor in the early 2010s.

Just as it'd be jarring to for NBA fans to see James in Celtics green, it'd be even more so for one of LeBron's all-time rivals.
