All 12 current and former Celtics playing in the 2024 Olympics

10. Evan Fournier (France)
In 2021, Evan Fournier was the Boston Celtics’ big splash at the trade deadline. He slid right into the Gordon Hayward TPE, but his tenure with the team was short-lived.
He signed with the New York Knicks that following summer, and now, he’s currently an unrestricted free agent. Fournier has been a staple of Team France for years.
11. Guerschon Yabusele (France)
One of the most random names on this list, Guerschon Yabusele was drafted by the Celtics with the 16th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. Unfortunately, his NBA career only lasted two seasons.
He spent both years in Boston, playing in 74 total games. Despite his lack of success in the NBA, Yabusele has been playing for Team France for years and even won a silver medal in the 2020 Olympics.
12. Tremont Waters (Puerto Rico)
Last summer, Tremont Waters made waves with his impressive showings for Puerto Rico in the FIBA World Cup. Now, he’s back with them for the 2024 Olympics.
Boston selected Waters with the 51st pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and he spent two seasons with them. He appeared in 37 total games with the Celtics but only played in one NBA season (three games) after that.
