All 12 current and former Celtics playing in the 2024 Olympics

4. Juancho Hernangomez (Spain)
Though his time with the Boston Celtics was short, there was a time when Hustle athlete Juancho Hernangomez suited up in green, and it wasn’t just at the end of a movie.
Hernangomez appeared in 18 games for Boston back in 2021, and now, he’s hoping to help lift Spain to a medal in Paris. He’s been playing for different levels of Spanish national teams since 2013.
5. Dennis Schroder (Germany)
Technically, Dennis Schroder was a part of the 2022 Celtics team that ended its season in the NBA Finals. Unfortunately for Schroder, he was traded before he got the chance to play on that stage.
After helping Germany win the FIBA World Cup last summer, Schroder will attempt to do the same during the Olympics. However, this time around, the competition might be a bit tougher.
6. Mo Wagner (Germany)
The Celtics traded for Mo Wagner in the same deal that brought them Luke Kornet for the first time back in 2020, but he found a real home once he joined the Orlando Magic later that year.
He’s playing with Schroder on Team Germany this summer, along with his brother, Franz Wagner, fighting for a gold medal with some very impressive NBA-level talent around them.
