All 12 current and former Celtics playing in 2024 Olympics
Here are all 12 current and former Celtics players playing in Paris right now.
1. Jayson Tatum (USA)
Starting out with the obvious, Jayson Tatum has been suiting up for Team USA for roughly five years now. After winning a gold medal with the 2020 squad, Tatum is ready to help lead them once again.
Fresh off his first NBA Championship, Tatum’s resume has never looked better. Adding a second gold medal to his lengthy list of accomplishments would be a cherry on top of the perfect year.
2. Jrue Holiday (USA)
Like Tatum, Jrue Holiday will be seeking his second gold medal at the 2024 Olympics. He was on the 2020 roster with Tatum when they managed to win it all.
Holiday was reportedly recruited by Team USA for months as they attempted to assemble a dream squad heading into this run in Paris, and now, he’s giving the team big-time minutes.
3. Derrick White (USA)
After Team USA decided Kawhi Leonard and his injury issues weren’t an ideal fit, Derrick White was named as the roster’s replacement. Since then, he’s been a seamless fit.
On a team full of stars and legends, White’s ability to simply act as a role player has been exactly what the team needs. His top-notch defense and elite three-point shooting have been sublime.
