After 17 seasons in the league, Al Horford can finally call himself an NBA champion. Although not the easiest task it was definitely the most rewarding and surely he'd agree. Throughout many different rosters, teams and coaches he was able to claim victory with Joe Mazzulla and the Boston Celtics.

However, the 38-year-old has decided to sell his house this offseason but don't worry C's fans he'll still be around.

"Before news broke of his team’s majority owner deciding to cash out his share of the ball club, champion Boston Celtics big man Al Horford decided to sell his capacious Brookline home," Celtics Wire's Justin Quinn prefaced before saying, "But fans of the Celtics need not worry about his future with Boston, as the veteran forward has made it abundantly clear he is coming back to play with the Celtics for their 2024-24 campaign."

Horford is right where he needs to be and with a roster keeping its core — they're primed for more success down the road. It's going to be very fun for the Cs to watch.

The addition of Kristaps Porzingis led to a smaller role for Horford — coming off the bench. But his contributions never wavered as he played big-time and stepped up in his absence due to injury.

Looking down the line for Boston Celtics' Al Horford

Horford finished this past season scoring 8.6 points, snatching 6.4 rebounds and passing 2.6 assists. With Porzingis expected to miss the beginning of the season, the starting center position is his for the taking.

This upcoming 2024-25 NBA year comes with high expectations, not just because the Celtics are defending champions but Brad Stevens did all of the work on his end to keep the squad together.

They are positioned for even more greatness.

The surge of Jaylen Brown seems like he's entering his prime after a polished season. Jayson Tatum will be Jayson Tatum and the supporting cast of Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard and Xavier Tillman are back to lend a hand.

Horford is just a piece of this organization but without the help of everyone from the front office, medical staff, trainers, coaches, and teammates — the Boston Celtics would not be who they are.

All in what hopes to be the beginning of a dynasty.
