7 teams that pose the biggest threat to a Boston Celtics repeat in 2024-25

The Knicks finished as the second seed in the East last season but fell to the Indiana Pacers in the playoffs, mainly due to injuries.
They will return star Jalen Brunson and also acquired Mikal Bridges in a huge offseason trade to complete the Villanova quartet of Brunson, Bridges, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo.
They lost starting center Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency, but still have Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and OG Anunoby as frontcourt options.
As long as they stay healthy this year, the Knicks could challenge for the one seed this season given their depth and chemistry, and pose a legitimate threat in a potential Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Boston Celtics.
