5 Veteran free agents who could win their first ring in Boston
These ringless players are running out of time to find the right contender
Andre Drummond
Perhaps the best fit amongst veteran free agents, Drummond immediately plugs the rebounding and depth holes the Celtics face.
The big man averaged 8.4 points and 9 rebounds in 17 minutes per game with the Chicago Bulls last season, and although his best defensive years are behind him, Drummond’s presence for the Celtics could be a great fit with Porzingis while offering important insurance at the position.
As long as he remains serviceable on defense and keeps his shot taking to a minimum, he’s worth a serious look if you’re the Celtics.
