The Mavericks are playing with house money right now. There was no expectation of them reaching the NBA finals this season. The Boston Celtics, on the other hand, have been knocking on this door for the last five seasons. Six of the previous eight conference finals and their second NBA Finals appearance in three years add more fuel to the fire to get Banner 18.
The expectation for these Boston Celtics is an NBA Championship. They have been the Vegas frontrunners all year to get the title since they acquired both Holiday and Porzingis in the offseason last year.
