Andre Drummond

Once upon a time, Andre Drummond was a two-time All-Star with the Detroit Pistons. Since then, he has been an NBA journeyman having stints with the Cleveland Cavs, LA Lakers, Philadelphia Sixers, Brooklyn Nets, and most recently the Chicago Bulls. In Drummond's last few stops, he has solidified himself as one of the premier backup centers in the league.

Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman are free agents and neither saw more than a handful of possessions in the game these playoffs. Andre Drummond is only 30 years old and is coming a season where he played in 79 of the Bulls' 82 games posting averages of eight points and nine boards on 56% shooting in just 17 minutes of playing time. The big man is a very underrated defender with quick hands and one of the best rebounders in the modern era.

Al Horford may have one season or two left but for the Celtics to get the best of him in June, minutes need to be reduced. You also cannot trust someone like Kristaps Porzingis to stay healthy. The C's need a more than serviceable third big.
