The Boston Celtics will have some tinkering to do with their roster this summer. Sure, they've gone 48-13 thus far and have won 78.7 percent of their games, which is their best clip since 2007-08, when they last won a championship.

The Cs have a hefty payroll, which could force them to make fringe moves on the margins. But those types of moves are oftentimes not upgrades, just moves that tend to help a team maintain their status of top-tier contenders.

Brad Stevens may need to make a big move, if Boston walks away empty-handed this postseason. In this case, four players could find themselves on the move.

Let's take a look at which players Stevens may have to ship off.

4. Payton Pritchard

Payton Pritchard's NBA career has been a rather rocky one, as he was always a solid player who wasn't quite being given the opportunity to show his value and worth. Pritchard requested a trade, realizing Boston's depth at the guard position and not anticipating any scenario that saw him landing more playing time.

The four-year guard has averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per 36 minutes, although he's still only earned 20.4 minutes per contest. Pritchard has maintained his shooting stroke, making 38.1 percent of his treys on a career-best 4.4 attempts.

Pritchard is signed through 2028 and presents a great trade piece in the summer, paving the way for a win-win scenario for Pritchard, who deserves more playing time, and the team.
