3 Retired Celtics who could play in the Big3 league
Blake Griffin
The infamous Kia jumper, Blake Griffin has recently retired from NBA basketball. His last season with the Boston Celtics still showed the ability to compete professionally. He finished the 2022-23 season with averages of 4.1 points, and 3.8 rebounds on 49% shooting from the field, and 35% from three. The freak athlete is 35 years old and holds six All-Star appearances, five All-NBA selections, and won the 2011 Rookie of the Year. His career averages in 13 years of playing are 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists per game on 49% shooting overall, 33% from three, and 70% from the stripe.
Griffin can still catch a body at the rim and may immediately become the best athlete to ever play in the Big3. His high IQ play makes him a serious threat in this half-court style of basketball. He may be done with the rigors of an 82-game season, but playing some light summer ball for big cash in league with former teammates and friends.
The pitch to get Griffin starts here. The future Hall of Famer deserves consideration in Cube's one-of-a-kind league.
