One player is a shooter with size, another is a former leading scorer for the Boston Celtics, and the third never made the final roster.

Danilo Gallinari

Danilo Gallinari actually was a Celtic back in the 2022-23 season who just never suited up for the green team due to an injury suffered in Olympic play. It was a dream for the Italian forward to wear green and play for the historic franchise. This past off-season he was dealt in a package for the C's to acquire Kristaps Porzingis.

When the trade was final, there were feelings of betrayal.

Gallinari would return to the floor as a member of the Washington Wizards and would be traded to the Detroit Pistons who later waived him a month later. After clearing waivers, the six-foot-10 wing would sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. A six-game stretch with the Pistons saw him average 8.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and two assists on 55% shooting, and 58% on threes in just 15 minutes of playing time. I believe playing for the Celtics is still a dream for Gallo and he could be a major contributor towards another title.
