Jeff Green

The 37-year-old wing, Jeff Green, played 78 games for the Houston Rockets in the 2023-24 season and posted averages of 6.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 17 minutes a game on 46% shooting from the field. The forward played four seasons with the C's from 2010 to 2015. He averaged a career-high 17.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in the 2014-15 season.

Green was the best Celtic arguably for a two-year stretch where he showed freak athleticism, clutch shooting, and toughness to do all this coming back from open heart surgery. He went on to have stints with the Grizzlies, Clippers, Magic, Cavs, Wizards, Jazz, Rockets, Nets, and Nuggets and is now returning for a second stint with Houston. This run of playing for 11 teams in 10 seasons led to an NBA finals run with the 2018 Cavs and a championship with the 2023 Nuggets. A stay-ready and locker-room veteran would be terrific for the Boston Celtics.
