3 Former Boston Celtics we want to see in green again: Part 5
One used to date Khloe Kardashian, another wore the elusive 99 jersey, and the last player was the prototypical stretch five.
Mike Muscala
I know what you're thinking: "Mike Muscala played for the Celtics?
The short answer is yes and he was entirely underrated during his time with Boston. Albeit brief, in 20 games for the Cs, he averaged 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds on 47% shooting overall, and 39% from three on 3.3 attempts. The veteran big man was traded to the Washington Wizards in the deal that landed Kristaps Porzingis in Beantown.
Last season Mike Muscala was passed around more than a basketball on the 2024 Celtics. He spent 24 games with the Wizards, 13 games with the Pistons, and 16 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He is a career 37% sniper from three and is six-foot-10 and at 33 years old his time may be coming to a close to competing for an NBA championship.
