3 Former Boston Celtics struggling in the 2024 NBA postseason

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing as we speak, and if you look around the league, then you will notice many familiar faces as a Boston Celtics fan. In the Postseason, there are 15 former Cs in all. The following list is a ranking of the three former Celtics who are struggling the most: one big man cannot find his consistency on a playoff foe, another wing cannot hit the side of a barn in Milwaukee. And a former All-Star, now held scoreless in over 40 minutes of playing time.

Jae Crowder

Once Mr. 99 problems, solid defense, relentless effort and a three point bucket were not among the ones for Jae. The forward played for the Celts from 2015-17 and put up the best season of his career in 2015-16 averaging a career high 14.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and career high 1.7 steals per game on 44% shooting, 34% from beyond the arc, and 82% from the free-throw line. His next stops were with the Cavs, Jazz, Grizzlies, Heat, Suns, and now the Bucks.

In the 2024 playoffs in six games, Crowder averaged 2.3 points per game on 25% shooting from the field and 14% from three in 10 minutes of playing time.  The Bucks wing could solve the housing crisis with the bricks he was laying against Indy.
