3 Former Boston Celtics struggling in the 2024 NBA postseason

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing as we speak, and if you look around the league, then you will notice many familiar faces as a Boston Celtics fan. In the Postseason, there are 15 former Cs in all. The following list is a ranking of the three former Celtics who are struggling the most: one big man cannot find his consistency on a playoff foe, another wing cannot hit the side of a barn in Milwaukee. And a former All-Star, now held scoreless in over 40 minutes of playing time.

Marcus Morris Sr.

Marcus Morris Sr., or as Boston Celtics fans knew him, "Mook," suited up for the green team from 2017-2019. The swingman was known for his toughness, smooth mid range jumper, and versatility on defense. The better of the Morris twins has bounced around the league much with stints with the Knicks, Clippers, Sixers, and now the Cavs. His best season with Boston saw the big man average 13.9 points, and 6.1 rebounds on 45% shooting from the field, 38% from three, and 84% from the free-throw line.

Now, he stares across from the other side on the C's second round foe, the Cavs.  Morris Sr has been largely a non-factor while averaging 14 minutes per game and putting up a pedestrian 4.3 points and 3 rebounds per game on 36% shooting overall, and a miserable 24% from three.
