1 Player the Boston Celtics should sign from each Atlantic Division team
Brooklyn Nets: Trendon Watford
Trendon Watford is going into his third NBA season and should be at the top of Beantown's target list come July. The 23-year-old forward is a high-energy defender who averaged 6.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 13 minutes of play on 52% shooting from the field, and 40% from three. While buried in the Brooklyn Nets rotation, these averages are impressive and could add a significant punch to a championship roster.
Recent history shows young role players may be willing to take less money to compete for a title. Examples like Malik Monk and Gabe Vincent joining the Lakers in their early years. If the Boston Celtics are looking to build a dynasty, then there needs to be development of young players behind the veterans.
