Nerlens Noel

Nerlens Noel is an NBA player who has always been known for being a defensive anchor and the Boston Celtics can pick him up today. It is also worth mentioning that Nerlens was born in the great state of Massachusetts so the hometown kid coming home would make him an instant fan favorite.

While Noel has had an extensive injury history, he did play for both the Brooklyn Nets and Detroit Pistons last season. If anyone remembers, during the New York Knicks’ run in the 2020-2021 season he was a huge part of their defensive identity.

He can come right into the Celtics locker room in this lesser role and just play hard, physical defense for the team night in and night out. In a matchup with the Bucks, Nerlens can set up the wall by altering and even potentially block some of the Greek Freaks shots.

The Defensive specialist Nerlens Noel would give the Boston Celtics a lot of help at this point and it will not cost them much on the current market. You can bring him and he will just accept his role and give maximum effort on the defensive end to get that ring for his hometown team.
