Kyle Lowry

Many got their jokes on Kyle Lowry during the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals, during which he had two massive dud performances in Game 2 and Game 4, a Miami Heat win and a Boston Celtics win, respectively, but if a Damian Lillard trade ever went down and the Toronto Raptors legend ever went to a rebuilding team with no interest in him, the Cs would have to consider a pursuit.

Boston is hoping Derrick White could be the kind of point guard Lowry already is, and if that doesn’t turn out to be the case and White struggles to keep up with the smaller speedsters at the position, getting the real thing could be on the table.

Matching Lowry’s contract would require Malcolm Brogdon’s deal, but most fans would probably take that swap right now considering the uncertain relationship between the NBA’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year and the Celtics organization.
