Celtics fans have seen the Jaylen Brown rumors in recent years. His max extension will cool things off for now, but Boston is willing to trade him in a package for a superstar.

The Thunder have arguably the most talented young roster in the league led by SGA. The 25-year-old was a first-team All-NBA selection in 2023 and is nearly two years younger than Brown. OKC will struggle to pay all of their young talent, and if the Thunder are not title contenders, Gilgeous-Alexander could look to join one like Kevin Durant did in 2016.

The Boston Celtics need ball-handling and playmaking juice, especially if Derrick White is the starting point guard. Tatum will be the leading scorer, but the team could use a facilitator. SGA can handle that role and gives Boston two of the top ten players in the league five years from now. He is a force on both ends of the floor and an upgrade over Jaylen Brown.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have just turned 30 and should be in his prime. His shooting will improve playing next to Tatum, and the Celtics dynamic duo makes them an instant contender. Boston needs shooting and defense around their two stars as they look to win multiple championships.
