The Boston Celtics have developed a bad reputation over the years in terms of the treatment of their players. While some fans may call it unfair, the fact of the matter is they continue to treat players the wrong way.

The Celtic’s treatment of Marcus Smart and his departure did not make them look like the good guys. Ultimately, it is a bad look for the Cs, and it highlights the bad reputation that they have developed.

The first reason why the treatment of Smart is a bad look for the Celtics is that they told him he was safe a week before the trade. I think it’s a bad look for Boston because Smart was a core player, and they should have treated him better. When you have a bad reputation around the league, you need to try to fix that, and the Cs failed to do so with Smart.

I don’t blame Smart for having these comments because he is in the right.

The Boston Celtics also look bad because Smart said that he found out through his agent and not the team. This is an embarrassing look for the Celtics because Smart was the longest-tenured player on the team, and he meant a lot to the area. The least you can do is give him a phone call and give him a heartfelt message.

Ultimately, this decision is not surprising because they have a history of treating players poorly. A prime example of this is the way they treated Isaiah Thomas.

Trading Marcus Smart was a good move, but the Boston Celtics handled it poorly

Although I like the fact that the Celtics traded Smart, I don’t like the way they handled it.

The Celtics are in a position where they need to be attractive to stars that they can put with the Jays, and this does not help (Kristaps Porzingis is not a star).

The Celtics will have to do some damage control because it’s not looking good.
