Reggie Jackson

Being traded from the LA Clippers to the Denver Nuggets ended up being a blessing in disguise for Reggie Jackson. He went from being on a team that drastically underperformed this season to one that overperformed. And he got to be part of an NBA Championship team in the process. Even though he didn’t play much with the Nuggets (appearing in only six postseason games with the team), even just being part of Denver’s magical run had to mean a lot to Jackson. Especially considering everything he’s gone through in his career.

And at just 33 years old, there’s a chance that Jackson is rejuvenated with this championship run and motivated to try to do it again. Perhaps that may have to happen on another team, though. If so, the Celtics could emerge as one potential landing spot that would at least make some sense.

Before his stint with the Nuggets this past season, Jackson was a quality player for the Clippers. He’s also just one season removed from averaging 11 points and four assists on 35 percent shooting from 3-point range.

There’s reason to believe that Jackson still has another year or two left in the tank. In a backup role, he could work in Boston.
