3 Luke Kornet replacements the Boston Celtics should pursue
Alex Len
As the Sacramento Kings made their way to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since 2006, Alex Len wholeheartedly embraced a limited role within the team.
Throughout the regular season, Len averaged 1.7 points and 2.3 rebounds across 26 games. His contributions increased slightly during the intense seven-game series against the Golden State Warriors, where he provided 2.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in just 7.7 minutes of action.
At the age of 30, Len has established himself as a reliable role player coming off the bench in recent seasons. Boston, in search of stability in their frontcourt during periods of rest for their main players, could benefit from his presence.
While Len may not receive significant playing time on the court, signing him for the veteran’s minimum would not only add depth to the team but also provide a steady presence in the locker room. This would contribute to maintaining the team’s chemistry throughout the entirety of the 2023-24 campaign.
