Boston Celtics fans are going to be glued to Game 5 with the team looking to force a Game 6 against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, but if that isn’t enough to get your heart racing, I have something else!
A Celtics-centric same-game parlay! Parlays can be fun to bet since they involve several outcomes, but they also all need to hit for the bet to cash.
Let’s break down each pick for Thursday night’s contest:
Best same-game parlay for Celtics fans in Game 5
- Boston Celtics Moneyline (-320)
- Jayson Tatum 25+ Points (-425)
- Derrick White 2+ 3-Pointers Made (-250)
- Al Horford 5+ Points (-450)
This parlay comes to +180 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Boston Celtics Moneyline (-320)
I think this series is going back to Miami.
The Celtics are heavy favorites in this game (eight points), and they are coming off their best game of the series in Game 4.
Over the last three seasons, Boston has six wins against Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals by 11 or more points. I expect Boston to protect home court and force a Game 6.
Jayson Tatum 25+ Points (-425)
Jayson Tatum struggled in Game 3’s blowout loss, but he has scored at least 30 points in every other game in this series, averaging 28.1 points per game in the playoffs.
He should play a ton in Game 5, and taking his line down to 25+ makes me even more confident he hits it.
Derrick White 2+ 3-Pointers Made (-250)
Derrick White has been huge as a shooter all postseason, and he’s come alive after a bad finish to the second round against the Philadelphia 76ers.
White has made at last three shots from beyond the arc in all four games in the Eastern Conference Finals, taking 23 in total. I love him to find the range twice in Game 5.
Al Horford 5+ Points (-450)
Al Horford bounced back with one of his better games of the playoffs in Game 4, and he’s scored at least five points in four of his last five games and seven of his last 10.
He’s worth a shot at this adjusted line.
