The Boston Celtics have the chance to take a commanding 3-1 Eastern Conference semifinals lead over the 76ers, who have seemingly gotten worse since 2022-23 MVP Joel Embiid returned to the lineup. Following a double-digit win for the Cs in enemy territory on May 5, the familiar feeling that results from these two teams playing in the playoffs is starting to creep in.

The stats don’t tell much of a story, with both teams being close to even in rebounds, assists, fouls, and points in the paint.
