The 2022-23 Boston Celtics put together a phenomenal season as the team finished 57-25 with the second-best record in the NBA.

While Jayson Tatum set the league on fire with his historical campaign and Jaylen Brown continued his ascension into superstardom, their supporting cast made all the difference in Boston’s consistent success against elite competition.

The Celtics boasted the league’s No. 1 net rating against top-10 teams (measured by point differential) with a +6.9 mark. The second-best mark belonged to Denver at +3.4. In addition, Beantown held the best road record against top-10 teams by a wide margin.

Boston also became just the second team in NBA history to end a season top two in both offensive and defensive rating. The Golden State Warriors achieved this feat twice, first during their 2014-15 championship season and again when they finished with a 73-9 record in the 2015-16 season.

The Celtics will officially begin their quest for an 18th championship Saturday April 15 against the Atlanta Hawks.

With the regular season wrapped up, there is no better time to present our team awards to the players that made Boston so fun to watch all season long.
