The Boston Celtics nearly beat the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night without Robert Williams III and Jaylen Brown, and now they’ll look to bounce back at home against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday.

Toronto currently holds the No. 9 spot in the East, winning back-to-back games against the Charlotte Hornets to pull it to the same record as the No. 8-seeded Atlanta Hawks.

While the Celtics are likely locked into the No. 2 seed, the Raptors have a whole lot more to play for in terms of their play-in tournament standing.

Boston is a small favorite in this game, which shows that the team is still expected to play some of its main rotation players on Wednesday.

Here’s how to bet on this matchup:

Raptors vs. Celtics odds, spread and total

Raptors vs. Celtics prediction and pick

Both of these teams have been elite against the spread on the second night of back-to-backs this season.

Boston is 8-4 in that spot while Toronto is 6-4-1. The Celtics could sit some players in this matchup, but they showed on Tuesday that they can compete with a much better team despite being shorthanded.

The Celtics are 2-0 so far against Toronto this season, and they’ve been one of the best home teams in the NBA, going 29-9 at TD Garden.

Toronto, on the other hand, is just 14-25 on the road in the 2022-23 season.

I’ll take a shot on the Celtics to bounce back with Brown hopefully returning to the lineup.
