The Boston Celtics look to build off win No. 50 of the 2022-23 season on March 24 following a 4-2 record on their recent six-game road trip when they take on the Pacers within the friendly confines of the TD Garden.

Boston impressively dispatched the Kings in their most recent outing, getting 63 points from the star duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Perhaps more impressively, the Cs held every single one of Sacramento’s players below the 20-point threshold.

The Pacers come into tonight having gone .500 in their last 10 games. Indiana sits 1.5 games out of an NBA Play-in spot, making Friday a chance to gain (or lose) ground in the standings with the Bulls in action as well. Ditto for Boston, with the 76ers also in action and the No. 2 seed separated by a half-game in the standings.

Sportsbooks have little to no faith in the Pacers being able to be competitive on the road against the Celtics, whose struggles came to a halt with the return of Robert Williams III. Though Indiana has alternated wins and losses for a good portion of the season, and could be without their best player, Tyrese Haliburton, on Friday night, 12 points is just too much to lay.

The Celtics will win, but they won’t cover.
