The Boston Celtics have returned to the win column the past two games after a season-worst stretch from February 27 to March 6 where the team lost four of five games — two of which came against their Atlantic Division rivals, the Knicks. On Monday, March 13, the Celtics have a strong chance to run their win streak to three as they face the west’s worst team, the Rockets.

Houston comes into this one on a three-game losing streak and has won just two of its last 14 games overall. The Rockets rank near the bottom in offensive rating, defensive rating, and net rating, so the stats bear out that this squad simply isn’t ready to win much in 2022-23.

Perhaps Victor Wembanyama can save them next season, but Houston is what they are during this season: one of the undisputed worst teams in the league. Can Boston take care of a business as a heavy favorite?
