Boston Celtics celebrate blowout win in hilarious fashion
The Boston Celtics had what may have been their most dominant win of the season on Wednesday when they ran the Phoenix Suns out of their own gym. Boston led by as many as 45 points in their 125-98 victory over the Suns. The win was their 21st of the season, which is the most in the NBA (just in case you didn’t know). Wednesday’s win also marked the third of the current six-game road trip. The Celtics still have to pay a visit to the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
As the teams waited for play to resume after a timeout late in the fourth quarter, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart stole the show.

The two stars busted out some moves as “Tootsie Roll” by 69 Boyz played over the loudspeakers at Footprint Arena. Smart went in on the dance and had his Celtics teammate cracking up as he looked on. The video spread like wildfire on Twitter, with fans enjoying the dance masterclass put on by the longest-tenured member of the Boston Celtics.
Smart has been know to show off the moves every once in a while. He stole the show a few years back at the annual Celtics gala. Teammates gathered around as Marcus put on a dance display that lives on through Barstool’s Dan Greenberg, who shares the video each time Boston wins.

This isn’t the first time Celtics fans have seen this pair get down (I looked up synonyms for dance and this was the only one that made sense, sue me). Smart and Brown nailed the “Apache” mid game against the Warriors back in 2020.

Brown, like Smart, has been known to show off some moves every once in a while. He’s taken and shared multiple videos of himself doing drive by dances in the past.

…and during postgame interviews.
“This season there’s been a lot of ups and downs. We do appreciate all the people that have been positive. We appreciate the people who have been negative, too.”

I know I’m definitely hoping for more dancing in the future because that means more Boston Celtics wins.
