The Boston Celtics look to reach a win streak milestone in Chicago on Monday, November 21 when the Bulls host the hottest team in the league for their third matchup of a four-game set in 2022-23.

The Cs and Bulls have split their first two games, with Chicago handing Boston its first loss of the season on October 24 at the United Center. On November 4, the Cs got that win back in a close matchup at the T.D. Garden.

In this third matchup, Boston enters as a sizeable favorite due to the strength of their recent play and the Bulls’ own four-game losing streak. Most recently, Chicago lost to the rebuilding Orlando Magic — who were missing a potential Rookie of the Year candidate in Paolo Banchero. Before then, they lost by a combined 37 points to the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans in their prior two matchups. Overall, the Bulls are 1-6 in their last seven games overall.

With plenty on the line, especially for a regular season game, will the Cs deliver in a key spot? Or will the Bulls pull off a fairly big upset early on in the season? Hardwood Houdini has your odds and a prediction for the Monday battle between the Boston Celtics and Chicago Bulls on NBC Sports Boston, NBC Sports Chicago, and NBA League Pass (all odds provided by WynnBET):

Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls odds, spread

The Celtics are 6-point favorites against the Bulls on the road. Chicago is a +200 home underdog while Boston’s ML is set at -240. The over/under for the game has been placed at 229.5 points.

Celtics vs. Bulls prediction

Chicago has not been putting up many points of late, so that trend feels like it could turn a corner against a Celtics defense that has been better after serving as a turnstile in the opening weeks of the season.

The Houdini is leaning towards the over, which hit the last time these two teams played but not the first time they did.

Pick: 229.5o (-110)
