Former Boston Celtics fan favorite Tacko Fall believes that fans of the team and national media talking heads lack respect for 1A star Jaylen Brown, who was at the center of trade talks throughout the offseason.

Of course, those talks were for Kevin Durant and they ultimately went nowhere after the front office, ownership group, and superstar all came together and agreed to proceed with their partnership.

Still, they had an effect on the relationship between Brown and the Boston Celtics — at various points, Brown was exhibiting the type of social media behavior a player who isn’t totally satisfied with their situation would display.

Fall took notice and said to Bally Sports’ Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson during his Bovada segment at TJ Kidd’s Celebrity basketball game that Brown was being disrespected and not given nearly enough credit for his accomplishments on the court:

Former Boston Celtics fan favorite Tacko Fall is now playing overseas

Former fan favorite Tacko Fall is already out of the NBA, signing a one-year deal in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers — marking the end of a three-year career stateside split between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Fall, a former UCF Knight representing the NCAA’s American Athletic Conference, spent time earlier this summer representing the Utah Jazz during the NBA’s 2022 Las Vegas Summer League. His most notable effort came in a 12-point, 15-rebound, three-block performance during an 83-82 victory over the Dallas Mavericks SL squad.

Fall played a total of 37 games during his first three professional seasons in mostly garbage time minutes. 26 of those performances came in a Boston Celtics uniform during the pandemic-stricken 2019-20 mid-year suspended bubble season and the empty-arena 2020-21 season. His statistical output progressively declined over the years.
