Anticipated Boston Celtics game No. 3) Finals rematch against Warriors

When: December 10th, 2022

As one can see from this list alone, December is primed to be an incredibly eventful month for the Boston Celtics, as it’s filled with intriguing matchup after intriguing matchup.

However, quite possibly the most anticipated game, not just of the month but of the entire season is their December 10th road tilt against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

Despite having lost in six games, the Celtics gave the Dubs a run for their money during the 2022 NBA Finals, coming in and stealing Game 1 on the road and even going up 2-1 through the series’ first three games played.

Unfortunately, the C’s inexperience on the big stage coupled with their various weak spots found within the rotation proved to be too much for them to overcome, and, ultimately, the Warriors wound up coming away from the series as league champions for the fifth time in eight years.

Fast forward a little over two months later, and it appears that Boston has addressed these specific sore spots, as they’ve bolstered both their backcourt depth and secondary scoring punch, both were major weaknesses within their rotation last season.

Now with this newly revamped roster, one can almost guarantee that the Celtics are going to try and make a statement in their first matchup against Golden State since their Game 6 defeat.
