Anticipated Boston Celtics game No. 2) Christmas Day against Milwaukee

When: December 25th, 2022

Like every year, 2022’s Christmas Day slate is chock full of matchups viewed to be some of the best and most storied rivalries across the league’s landscape and arguably the most noteworthy of them all is the evening bout between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks.

The last time we saw these two clubs square off was in last season’s Eastern Conference Semifinals that went all the way to seven games where the C’s wound up coming away victorious.

Now, while the series was undoubtedly one filled with astounding plays and captivating all-around efforts throughout, there are some who believe that this matchup was rather uneven what with the fact that the then defending champion Bucks were nowhere near full strength, as arguably their second-best player in Khris Middleton was found sidelined throughout due to a medial collateral ligament sprain.

Had the All-Star been healthy and on the floor, his presence would have been of great service to Milwaukee with some believing that it could have been enough to alter the series’ outcome.

While Christmas Day certainly does not have the same stakes as a Conference Semifinals, it easily pulls in just as much attention and viewers.

Under the bright lights of primetime basketball, in their first matchup since the epic “winner take all” contest back in Boston, assuming both squads are healthy we may finally be able to get a better understanding of how last year could have played out with Milwaukee’s Big 3 on the court.
