We’re less than a month into the 2022 NBA Offseason and already the Boston Celtics have established themselves as one of the biggest winners from the time period.

On the first full day of free agency, Brad Stevens managed to strike gold, not once but twice as he snagged Danilo Gallinari off the open market and Malcolm Brogdon via trade.

With these transactions, the C’s managed to address many areas of concern within their rotation, as the former helps bolster the wing/ forward depth behind franchise cornerstones Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, the latter gives them another facilitation option in the backcourt, and, perhaps most importantly, both add more offensive firepower to their second unit.

Now, with these high-impact moves already made, the next objective that Boston must try and accomplish is to figure out how they can properly utilize their bevy of TPE’s, particularly their $17.1 million exception that is set to expire on July 18th.

In all likelihood, many of these luxuries will wind up going unused–after all, they’ve already shored up some of their most glaring spots within Ime Udoka’s lineup–, but, at least when it comes to the more valuable ones, we at the Houdini believe the franchise must strongly consider bringing on a trusty commodity, if nothing more than to better round out their depth.

Of course, with this, some may argue that finding a sure thing to have come aboard this roster that made it to within just two games of winning an NBA title may be a bit hard to come by, but perhaps pursuing players already familiar with the culture of the organization could be a savvy way of improving these odds.

Today, we at HH discuss 2 former Boston Celtics players that should be considered with one of the team’s TPE’s:
