Boston Celtics stud: Jaylen Brown

Coming into Game 6, we at HH stated that Jaylen Brown needed to step up in a big way after having a night to forget during his last outing on Monday night.

Though the ultimate outcome was a loss, the wing absolutely came to the call when it mattered most!

Right from the jump it was rather evident that it was going to be a big night for Brown, as he was responsible for five of the team’s first nine points scored and, by the half, had already posted 14 points, a number that led all players.

By the time the final buzzer sounded, it was evident that the 2021 All-Star selection kept his offensive genius flowing throughout the contest as a whole, finishing with a whopping 34 points to go along with seven boards and three assists on 52 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from deep.

What was most remarkable about his performance was actually the aspect of his game that we believed he needed to improve upon when coming into the contest–his second-half offensive production.

Through the final two periods of action, Jaylen Brown was virtually unstoppable in the scoring department, as he wound up knocking down 7-of-11 attempts from the field and 3-of-5 attempts from the floor, many of which were heavily contested.

Sadly, despite his efforts and, frankly, our beliefs, the wing’s astounding performance was not enough to save Boston from our next player’s dudly showing:
